Vision Originality
Technique ImpactThe moment I saw this, I instantly thought of my school - The Fighting Owls.
This is a beautiful piece of artwork. I will start with the background: It is colourful and bold, and brings the owl into focus. The various shades of blue are eye catching and interesting and soothing.
The owl: The layered effect of the owl's body is amazing. The colours are warm and animal-like, and do not clash with the blue. Blue and brown look very nice together, either in a room together or as a painting. The detail of the face and chest are splendid.
I like the layering technique most. It is original and intersting to focus on. Overall, this is a great and inspiring painting. Keep up the fantastic work!
